The piqué knit blends 55 % cotton with 45 % polyester: the cotton inner face absorbs perspiration while the outer face holds the cut and the fluorescent colour. The flexible segmented retro-reflective tapes — two around the body, two squares on the shoulders — let the fabric breathe and follow movement, where a solid band stiffens the garment.
